Their experiments with nature magic, however, had unintended consequences. The more they manipulated the land, the more it seemed to resist their efforts. Were the gods of nature they once served resisting them? But why?

The ongoing struggle of magic and divining power had its cost. The once vibrant forest succumbed to a barren wasteland.
